SYNOPSIS: “A Family Christmas – Ain’t No Vacation” Stage adaption, with an added Ensemble Chorus (think Greek Choir), of everyone’s favorite classic 1989 movie “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”, written by John Hughes and directed by Jeremiah S. Chechik, created and performed exclusively for Fine Arts members and guests. Clark Griswold is on a quest to give his family the best ‘good old-fashioned family Christmas’, even if it kills him. Through his dogged determination and with reluctant ‘help’ from his wife, kids, and quirky relatives, he may just succeed. Classic Christmas songs with new fun lyrics, sung by an Ensemble Chorus help to smooth the way.
